Tutorial by AllieCat Cosplay. Photography credits to AllieCat Cosplay and Lafeetz Photography.

Start with a comfortable shoe.

Cover shoe with plastic wrap to protect shoe.

Cover shoe with packing tape.

Draw on details with marker.

Cut out sections of the armor from that pattern.

Create a ½ inch lip to connect pieces together. Transfer pieces to 2mm foam.

Cover shoe with towel and heat shape 2mm foam pieces to the curvature of the shoe.

Glue foam armor pieces together at the ½ inch lip.

Heat Black Worbla and cover the armor pieces completely.

Repeat on other shoe.

Use 2 inch wide elastic and glue to the bottom of the armor near the arch of the foot. This will be the strap to keep the armor on.

Prime the Black Worbla with 4-5 layers of wood glue, paint and seal.

DONE!
